Mark Thiele lives near Adelaide in South Australia where he has close ties with the Jam Factory, the famous centre for Contemporary Craft & Design. He has already made a name for himself as a sought after glass artist; not only in Australia but also internationally.

He received a BA in Visual Arts from the Australian National University in Canberra and he was also the Ranamok Prize winner in 2001.  Mark’s inspiration comes from the rich, striking colours  and contours of the landscape in the rugged outback of Australia.
